We are excited to report that we had an encouraging update meeting with the City of Madison about our development plans for the next steps in our Therapeutic Interactive Intergenerational Neighborhood (TIIN). Much thanks to retired lawyer Tim Radelet, and Ethan Schwenker and Doug Buck of Quarles & Brady, LLP, we are making progress on the complex policy issues involved in the next steps of development. This involves serving both older adults and families with young children as residents in a shared site with integrated programming; utilizing the strengths of each group to meet the needs of both. We look forward to sharing more specific information about this in the coming months as details are determined.
As we are working on defining our critical path and moving forward in the next steps of developing the TIIN, we are also working on growing our capacity.
One aspect of this is growing our leadership team. We recently added two new members to our Board of Directors - Tammy Taylor and Angeline Mboutngam. We are also excited to invite a former leader in our community (Jean Collins) to get more involved in the next stages of development. We hope you will help us to welcome them to the key roles they will play in the next stages of development as they share their skills and experience.
President, Founder of Crossgen Solutions-we had the opportunity to meet and recruit Tammy to join our team through the 2019 Nonprofit Draft Day. She was referred to us by a current member of our Board of Directors and brings both a strong educational background with a BS in Business Administration from George Mason University and brings significant experience in project management, consulting and management of large scale operations and contracts.

We had the opportunity to meet Angeline at a Madison Nonprofit Day event in 2018 and to invited her to join our leadership team this year. As a recent graduate of the UW-Madison School of Human Ecology, in Community and Nonprofit Leadership, she brings a strong educational framework to contribute to our team. She also brings strong community development and leadership experience, technical and communications skills, and experience with grant writing for non-profits.
Director of Administration-Upper House-Jean has her BS in Environmental Engineering, and is a long term friend of Hope & A Future founder, Karin Krause from the early days of her vision. She has experience with neighborhood development from her work with Mayo corporation. She is also a former member of the Board of Directors and former bookkeeper at Hope & A Future. As we prepare for the next stages of development, we welcome her increased involvement and contributions with her depth of knowledge of the history of Hope & A Future and experience in Business Administration and Human Resources.
